To enhance overall well-being and cultivate trust, José invites you to tune into what you feel and experience while helping you understand the purpose behind each pose, pranayama, or any practice. This awareness allows you to safely and effectively stimulate your body, breath, and mind, creating a personalized, nourishing practice, free from frustration and injury.
In her classes, workshops, and trainings, you can expect a blend of meditation, pranayama, functional anatomy, meridian and Chi stimulation (through poses and acupressure with balls), as well as Chinese Elemental theory and Yoga Philosophy. This Functional Holistic approach supports the harmonious flow of Chi (Prana), helping you release physical, emotional, and mental tension, breathe more consciously, let go of stress, and reconnect with yourself on a deeper level.
José’s teachings are inspired by yoga philosophy, Buddhism, Taoism, her studies of Chinese Medicine, Dr. Motoyama’s work, Byron Katie’s The Work, Reiki and meditation.She has been a committed student of Paul Grilley since 2007 and completed several of his Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings. José has also studied with Sarah Powers, T.K.V. Desikachar and many more.
