In this nourishing Yin Restorative class, we’ll calm the nervous system and gently stimulate the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve plays a central role in regulating heart rate, digestion, emotional resilience, and your ability to feel safe and calm. By gently stimulating it, you can reduce stress, balance your energy, and bring your body into a healing state.
José will guide you through long-held poses combined with soothing humming breath (Bhramari), Reiki, and the stimulation of acupressure points that support deep relaxation of body and mind. Together, these elements create a quiet, inward-focused experience that helps you unwind from overstimulation, soften, and reconnect with your breath and being. As always, José offers modifications and supportive guidance so you can attune to what your body needs in the moment. You’re encouraged to approach each pose as a space to rest into, guided by softness and curiosity.
